Beyond the headlines
This is the Africa we choose to honour.
Beyond the headlines, beyond the challenges, beyond the stereotypes, there is another Africa — an Africa of remarkable people, extraordinary achievements, compassion, courage, leadership, and service. This is the Africa we choose to honour.
The Africa We Honour Award, an initiative of the Royal Diaspora Monarchy, presented in partnership with the World Greatness Awards, exists to recognise and celebrate the people who represent the very best of Africa and humanity.
Greatness in action
We honour lives that make a difference.
From royalty to community leaders, from humanitarians to innovators, from educators to changemakers — we honour those whose lives make a difference.
A greater story
Africa’s greatest wealth is within its people.
In Nairobi, Kenya, at the World Greatness Awards 2026, we celebrated distinguished individuals whose stories remind us that Africa’s greatest wealth is not beneath its soil, but within its people.
We honour greatness beyond titles. We celebrate humanity beyond borders. We recognise service beyond recognition. ❤️
We celebrate all that is GOOD and GREAT in Africa.
This award is more than a medal. It is a declaration that African excellence deserves to be seen, African contributions deserve to be celebrated, and African greatness deserves to be remembered.
To our distinguished honourees, congratulations! Your lives are helping to tell a greater story of Africa. Africa sees you. Africa celebrates you. Africa honours you.
And through your example, generations will discover that greatness is not simply what we achieve for ourselves, but what we give to humanity.
